Yay!!Summer is almost over.I only have one more month till I return to hell.The previous year was torture for me.My friend Hayley changed dramatically.When we left Gilbert Elementary and Hampshire Middle, there was a girl named Yescenia that came from Hampshire Elementary.She came up to us and asked us if she could sit with us at lunch.Since we didn't know her that much, we let her sit with us.Hayley started to hang out with her more and more until she wouldn't talk to anyone else but Yescenia.She then started to ignore us and act as if everything was about her and everyone else didn't matter.One day I told my best friend Eriza what Hayley was doing and she tolled me that she was doing the same to her. I got pissed off and told Hayley that I needed to talk to her.I wasn't surprised that she was with Yescenia but I was surprised that she told me no.She said that she didn't want to and that she wanted to hang out with Yescenia instead of listening to what I had to say.I ignored her the rest of the day.Later that night I called her and her mom answered."Hello.Can I talk to Hayley please."
"Sure. Hold on a second."
A moment later Hayley came to the phone.
"Hello?Yescenia?"
"No.It's me.Brianna."
"Oh.What do YOU want?"
"First of all,stop acting rude and second of all,I want my old friend back!"
There was a long pause.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?!?!?!God!Your so stupid."
"Your the one that's stupid if you haven't figured out by now that your other friends are sad because you'd rather hang out with Yescenia all the time instead of with anyone else!!!"
She paused again.
"Well,if you don't like who I hang out with then you don't have to hang out with me!"
"That's fine with me!I'd rather have a friend that has feelings than hang out with you.!"
I hung up the phone and started to avoid her.Everything was better from then on.Now we very rarely talk to each other and I don't think we'll ever be friends again but that's fine with me.If only Yescenia didn't come.Maybe we would still be friends.
